Jane Fonda: A Timeless Icon of Longevity and Grace

March is celebrated as International Women’s History Month. There are many women who throughout history have had incredible impact on society and to stay current we thought Jane Fonda serves as a symbol of someone who has been an activist for many causes.  She is an icon in an industry that is ruthless, a fitness guru, and continues to be an inspiration for women all over the world.

Jane Fonda has long been active in social and environmental issues. An outspoken supporter for causes such as women's rights, the civil rights movement, climate change and who strongly opposed the Vietnam War.

Fonda started acting in 1960 and her career spans over six decades.  She consistently demonstrates her talent in the ever-evolving landscape of the entertainment industry which suffers from ageism and racial discrimination. 

In the 1980’s she was a pioneer in the fitness world and continues to be committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle. Who can forget those videos with a team behind her dressed in spandex.

And most recently the Netflix series Frankie and Grace – with a 91% audience approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.  As always Jane’s performance alongside with another strong women, Lily Tomlin, depicted a bond of friendship as they steered through family drama, medical challenges, business endeavors, and romantic turmoil, filling their journey with dignity and a touch of quirkiness.

Jane Fonda is committed to self-care and well-being. She openly discusses her journey with cosmetic procedures, three X-husbands and the importance of feeling good about oneself at any age.

She continues to use her fame as a platform to raise awareness and inspire positive change. She continually proves that age is just a number and that a life well-lived is one filled with purpose, passion, and continual growth.
